Supported by people with more than 20 years of experience in sugar trading, Sugar King Food Industries Inc. was founded and started its operation in 2008. The company is mainly engaged in

1)  trading all kinds of sugar products from raw, washed, to refined, and

2) manufacturing and supplying baking-related products such as powdered sugar, ready-to-use icing, food coloring, glucose and corn syrup, and many more to come.

OUR GOAL

Aimed to fulfill and satisfy both wholesale and retail clients by sourcing and supplying high-quality sugar and products from different provinces across all regions.

COMPANY STRATEGY

We help establish mutually beneficial relationship between our clients by providing them with steady supply of sugar and other baking-related products at the lowest possible price without compromising the quality.

We also partner with chef demonstrators who use our products with honest, direct and good feedback.

OUR TIMELINE

2008

ORIGINS:
REPACKING
AND TRADING

• Started as a trader and repacker of raw, washed, and refined sugar

​• Partnered with sugar mills in Negros: Victorias, BISCOM, CASA, etc.

​• Supplied sugar to wet markets, bakeries, groceries, and industrial clients in Metro Manila and nearby provinces (Batangas, Bulacan, Pampanga)

2020

FIRST STEP
INTO MANUFACTURING

• Responded to customer demand by producing powdered sugar

​• Started small: unbranded, plain packaging, sold 100 sacks

​• Positive customer feedback on superfine texture encouraged further development despite limited R&D experience

2021

TRANSITION TO MANUFACTURING & BRAND LAUNCH

• Realized the need to professionalize and specialize

• Officially transitioned into Sugar King Food Industries Inc.

• July: Connected with chefs and experts for product refinement

• Initiated online demos and education for home bakers

• September: Grand Launch of Confectioner's Powdered Sugar

• Launched marketing campaigns and gained chef endorsements

2022

PRODUCT EXPANSION & MARKET OUTREACH

• Introduced new product lines: Glucose Syrup, High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS), Food Coloring Gels, FlexiGum (for confectionery use)

• Joined major trade shows to increase brand exposure

• Launched Beyond Baking Demo Caravan across the country

• Strengthened brand visibility through fieldwork and bakery visits

• Conducted face-to-face demos and gathered  real-time feedback

2023

DIVERSIFICATION & CUSTOMER-CENTERED INNOVATION

• Entered the ready-made icing market with fondant and gumpaste

• Developed regular-fine powdered sugar to meet broader preferences

• Enhanced packaging design: clearer labeling, modern & informative visuals, and better shelf appeal

• Strengthened Sugar King's market adaptability and customer reach
